Technology Ethics: Basics, Clinical Application, and Decision-Making- Participants will learn the basics about technology ethics that could be used across a variety platforms – from 15 years ago when bulletin boards and e-mail were new to emerging social networking , VoIP, and texting platforms. Factors in making ethical decisions in the rapid asynchronous and synchronous environment will be addressed, as well as ethical issues in assistive technology evaluation and use. Case studies will allow attendees to apply learning objectives in a virtual environment.
