Prevention of Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections: Central Line Bundles- Of the many risk factors for catheter-related bloodstream infections, many are controllable and can be addressed through institutional implementation of a central line bundle and education on infection prevention. Bundles are a group of best practices that individually improve care, but when applied together result in substantially greater improvement.
