Metatatic Breast Cancer: Community Oncology Clinical Debates Part I- Despite remarkable progress in the treatment of breast cancer in recent years, management of metastatic disease remains a challenge and several clinical debates exist regarding optimal treatment choices. The resolution of these debates will greatly impact the interdisciplinary approach to the treatment of MBC. The Web archive series will expose participants to the latest controversies impacting MBC treatment. Expert faculty will foster healthy information exchanges regarding the controversies, data on emerging agents, practice trends, and interdisciplinary approaches in the management of MBC, and present case studies to stimulate interdisciplinary discussion. Evaluate the latest body of evidence regarding safety and efficacy of microtubule-directed agents in pretreated patients with MBC. Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with MBC to optimize clinical outcomes. Provide accurate and appropriate counsel as part of the treatment team.
